Very helpful and I like that they include Bible definitions and references.
This app rocks. It does what a dictionary should do without all the annoying things that the others do. I use it daily and am very happy with it.
I paid $3 for this app a few years back and loved it! Now I open it and im presented with ads, told I own only the Lite version, and get occasional crashes when I look up a word (critical path unreliable?). I feel ethically slapped. I imagine deep in some clause, theyre legally sound in their actions demoting me. In my gut though, I still feel wronged.
I love how its easy to use. Very easy to understand. The best part is the M points you get to earn when you use the app if you have other apps that have M points it gathers them from all other apps so you can get the points all together. Im a medical assistant and the medical part of this app helps so much it translates the words for you even some words like LB - pounds. So its so cool. When I was in collage out teacher told us the get this app and use it because it worked wonder and yes it did it saved lots of my home work assignments. But I truly advise you not to pay for the other app it takes away some things so I have two apps on mine and I use the free one more not as much the one I bought. Take care.
Dictionary of the day is an effective and fun way to easily increase your vocabulary or remind you of words that might have slipped your mind over the years. Also, one of the biggest benefits is that I am usually able to sneak in at least 3-5 other new/remembered words after reading the daily one. Try it, youll like it!
This app is very helpful too me because it gives great definitions and synonyms for word! It also has a thesaurus and gives great sample sentences as well!
Its so convenient that whenever you need to check up on a word, whether for its spelling, or its pronunciation, or its definition, the information you need is right there.
Easy to use, thorough, and enriched with insightful features and content. Well done!
I really like this app. Its very easy to use. I love that it helps you to find the right word, even if you spell it incorrectly. I just wish that there werent so many pop-ups asking if you want to upgrade, after awhile, this becomes quite annoying. Otherwise, great app.
Why did they feel the need to insert the word "Lite" onto the icon? It is as if they want to shame you forgetting the ad supported version. It destroys the look of the icon and, therefore, the look of my home screen. Adds take up time, and my time is worth something. No app is free. They Miriam Webster app is excellent, however! Delete this one and try that one.
I love the pronunciation button! Ive used it so many times when studying so that I dont embarrass myself I front of my professors or the class! One thing that could use a looking into would be the changing of tenses when searching for a word. Sometimes that gets a little frustrating when you want to know what a word means in a particular context. But overall great app!
Whether to look up a word, check spelling or learn a new one, this app ROCKS!
